Congrats 2018 Grads! Father’s Day specials and schedule updates …

We are currently booked for all Fridays-Sunday weekends in June until June 17th.
I have one opening for June 22nd or 23rd at this time.

Please call or text today if you will need a custom cake, cake pops or cupcakes. We will be out of town for the 4th of July holiday but I am taking requests for treats to be picked up on July 2nd & 3rd – if you need some 4th of July treats, call me today!

I will also be offering a Father’s Day cake special similar to the one we did on Mothers Day.

Current Schedule for Hidden Gem Cakes

Hidden Gem Cakes is currently fully booked for all dates, including week days, through June 10th, 2018.

We have only one opening for the weekend of June 15-17th at this time.

Please call or text today if you are looking for a custom cake in the coming months as we have been booking up about 3 weeks in advance on most weekends.

Mother’s Day Cake Specials

**Mother’s Day Cake special**

6 inch round drip cake with rosette and buttercream swirl decor – $50

Or 6 inch round rosette covered cake- $55

This size cake Serves 8-12. Available in chocolate or vanilla cake, buttercream frosted and filled for this special.
All cakes include an optional “Happy Mother’s Day” or “Mom” message on the cake board or cake.

Need to serve more guests?
Add a dozen matching rosette cupcakes for $20
Or a dozen matching signature swirled cake pops for $30.

Limited number of cakes available. Orders must be placed by 5/6/18 and picked up by 6 pm on Saturday 5/12/18

We are Fully Booked for September … here are tips on when to book

We do recommend booking your event cakes at least 2-3 weeks in advance whenever possible (even further in advance for large orders or celebrations such as weddings) as we do take a limited number of custom cake orders each weekend to insure the highest quality custom cakes and personalized customer service. Every client receives personal attention when planning their special treats.

A rush fee of $15 or 15% (whichever is higher) does apply to all orders made less than 7 days before pickup/delivery when space is available.

We are now booking orders in October and November. **We are fully booked for the last weekend of October for Halloween events.**

How we make our CAKE POPS!

At Hidden Gem Cakes in North Phoenix, we make the traditional style cake pop. This means that we take a freshly baked cake and mix it with frosting to form a cake ball with a texture similar to that of a truffle. Then we dip it in your choice of chocolate or vanilla to form the outside shell.

Our cake pops are moist and delicious and we have found that this style of cake pop is what is most preferred by our customers.

If you are looking for the lighter, donut hole style cake pop texture, please mention this when placing your order and we may be able to accommodate you. Please note that for special orders, pricing may vary from what is listed on our pricing guide.

Welcome to Hidden Gem Cakes

Thank you for stopping by! My name is Sarah, and I am the owner and baker at Hidden Gem Cakes in Phoenix, Arizona.

I started Hidden Gem Cakes in December 2014 after baking for friends family for many years and always being told I should start my own business. I am self taught in the area of baking and decorating but my background and education is in nutrition. I am graduating this May from ASU with my degree in Nutrition Communication. I am serv-safe certified through the National Restaurant Association, as well as registered with the Arizona Department of Health to bake and sell from my home in North Phoenix.

I specialize in cake pops, cupcakes, and creating gift baskets and dessert tables that include baked treats as well as chocolate dipped Oreo cookies, pretzels and more! I also make beautiful and delicious cakes for any occasion and I offer edible printing for personalizing, branding and marketing.
